Intellectual pollution

Pollution of intellectual environment demands attention. It is not that intellectual pollution is to be controlled by censoring. It is the free expression of ideas that propels growth of knowledge. Nothing can be taken for granted as truth. Search for knowledge makes progress by revealing new partial truths or falsehood. Then what can be the definition of 'intellectual garbage'? Any idea that is intentionally fed into the knowledge stream to mislead and manipulate intellectual search can be considered as garbage. Only the intellectual honesty of 'knowledge workers' can prevent this pollution.
